HIGH ADVENTURE INFORMATION RALLY - SEPTEMBER 12 AT 2:00 pm
Scouts over 13, Adults and Leaders are invited to St. Joseph's Church in
Ronkonkoma to hear about all the High Adventure opportunities available at
the Philmont Scout Ranch, Florida Sea Base and Northern Tier.
The Council has set up treks for 2011 and 2012.
Come and be part of the Adventure!

BRAND NEW - The B.T. District "Take Your Camera to Camp" Photo Contest!
Yes, we have something never tried before in our District.
Submit your best camping photos between May 15 and November 1.

NEW FOR 2010 - The HISTORICAL MERIT BADGE PROGRAM
Four Discontinued Merit Badges, first offered in 1911, have been re-activated for this Historical Year.
They are Carpentry, Pathfinding, Signaling and Tracking. All four of these merit badges will COUNT
toward Rank Advancement however, all requirements MUST be completed by December 31, 2010.
